CONSUMER ED.
One of the most important classes I have taken in high school was Consumer Ed. This class was one of the most beneficial because it taught me important responsibilities and skills that I will go through in my future. Balancing a checkbook, filling out tax forms, and having good insurance are just a few of the many things I learned. Having some experience about these things will help me later in life because I will already know what to do and will be able to do it well. Below is a picture of a packet we did to help us practice with filling out checkbooks and checks. While writing out checks isn’t too difficult, the practice I got from this worksheet really helped me make sure I knew what I was doing. Being able to maintain money and have a stable financial standing is an important task that many adults must do throughout their life. Consumer Ed. was one of most educating classes because I was taught about the important adult responsibilities that I will use someday.
