As a child I was always active and social. Meeting new people and making friends always came easy to me. As I’ve grown older, I’ve carried these characteristics with me, along with many other beneficial traits. I have become a person who works well with others or towards an individual goal, daring, and withholds a strong responsibility.

Growing up, the human body had always fascinated me. The way the body works and the science of it has sparked my interest and has led me to wanting to pursue a career in the health science field, specifically a Physical Therapist. My passion for the human body first came about when I learned about the muscles, bones, and regions of the body in Anatomy my junior year. To add to that, I myself have experienced going through physical therapy first hand for my shoulder. I would enjoy the opportunity of spending my future helping others improve their physical health.

This career field is fit for me because I would enjoy mingling with new people everyday while helping people improve their health. With my strong character, I feel as if I would be a good person to instruct patients to do their exercises, and brighten their day. Even though becoming a Physical Therapist is difficult, I believe that I could work hard at it and accomplish my dream career.

After high school I plan on attending Highland Community College for my general education. After earning an associates degree there, I plan on transfering to the University of Wisconsin- Platteville to earn my bachelor's degree in biology. After that, I would apply to a physical therapy program and go into more schooling to earn a master’s degree in physical therapy.
