MATHEMATICS
Math had usually always came easy to me until sophomore year in Geometry A. As the year progressed, I came to learn that geometry was not my strong point in math. I struggled to understand the concepts and lessons. To me, this was very frustrating because I have always been a student that picked up concepts quickly. The example I have chosen is a quiz that I believe shows my hard work that I put into this class. Since the material didn’t come easy to me, I had to put in extra effort to understand the lessons. Along with that, there were times I came into school early and got help from my teacher. Even though math may be a part of my college courses, I feel as if math has taught me more than just formulas and shapes. It has shown me that sometimes life gives challenges and that one can’t quit, but overcome them to keep going on. When I found myself struggling, I also found myself working harder and putting in more effort.
